It’s been six years since the dynamic Wilmington Chester Mass Choir’s last Cd release. Now, the choir’s many fans can rejoice as they are now signed to the Jacksonville, FL, based label Emtro Gospel. “This was a gift from God,” says Emtro Gospel founder and CEO, Troy Sneed. I’ve been a fan of Wilmington Chester Mass Choir for years, “Wow!” Founded in 1978 by the late Reverend Ernest Davis Jr. and formerly known as Reverend Ernest Davis, Jr. and the Wilmington Chester Mass Choir, the choir is comprised of singers from Delaware, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey. After Davis’ death in 1991, the choir continued to thrive. Under the leadership of Chris Squire and current musical director, Tamba Giles, they continue to create the stirring sort of gospel music that established their reputation.
